Why Should I Clean My Air Ducts?

May 18, 2024

BECAUSE THEY ARE DIRTY!

If your air ducts look dirty, they are!  Thinking about what is in there and what you breathe daily is frightening.  The typical buildup in ductwork comprises primarily dead skin cells, dander, dust, and chemicals.  Every time your system runs, this gets recirculated through your home or building.  This can harm indoor air quality for people with respiratory disorders, asthma, and allergies.

If you ever question the effectiveness and benefits of HVAC duct cleaning, looking at a few of these before and after photos from some of our recent projects might answer your questions.  Your ductwork is the lungs of your home and workplace.  Regular cleanings will improve indoor air quality, extend the life of your mechanical equipment, and save energy costs.

A grid of eight images showcases air ducts in varying states. The top row features dusty ducts, while below, progressively cleaner ones highlight the benefits of cleaning air ducts, culminating in spotless, smooth surfaces.
